Interdisciplinary Centre for Food Security (ICF), BAU is colloborating with Wageningen University, the Netherlands under a NUFFIC supported project. Under this project Wageningen University Centre for Development Innovation is supporting ICF to develop a Master Degree program on ‘Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security’. This MS program will be offerd to two groups of audiences: (a) freshers graduated from different agricultural universities of Bangladesh including BAU – leading to an Intership MS degree; and (b) mid career people with variety of educational backgrounds working in different organizations of agriculture or food security – leading towards a Professional MS degree (weekend teaching cum distance learning). The MS programs will start from January 2015. As a part of developing curriculum for the two MS programs, Ms Hansje Eppink of Wageningen University came to ICF to support the curruculum development activities during 24-25 February 2014. A total of 24 adjunct faculty of ICF participated in the curriculum development workshop and exercised updating of course outline for the programs.
