Interdisciplinary Centre for Food Security (ICF) of BAU is working to develop human resource and provide services through collaborative and integrated approach towards solving the food security and related problems of Bangladesh. For doing so, ICF has been looking for working in collaboration with different government and non-government organizations working with the people with repute.
Recently, ICF had a meeting with SaFaL Project of Solidaridad Network. Both the parties discussed on their scopes of working together in the South-West region of Bangladesh. ICF and SaFaL will be signing MoU to work closely in near future.
Gender mainstreaming in agriculture and agricultural education is an important agenda under ICF. Katalyst, a market development initiative supported by Swisscontact, has been working with gender in agriculture in different regions of Bangladesh. ICF gender team recently had a meeting with the Womens’ Economic Empowerment team of Katalyst to discuss the scopes of collaboration on gender issues. Both the parties agreed to work together under an MoU.
