[23-10-2017; Wageningen, Netherlands] A group of 26 ICF (Interdisciplinary Centre for Food Security) Faculty Members and NARS scientists are currently attending a leadership training named ‘INTEGRATED APPROACHES TO FOOD SECURITY’ under Centre for Development Innovation at Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands. Started on 16 October the training will last till 27 October 2017.

Abdul Awal (Chief Scientific Officer, Planning and Evaluation Division, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council), Dr.Rumman Ara (Senior Scientific Officer, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute) and Emran Hossain (Deputy Director, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute).

It is expected that this training will provide important insight into the understanding of interdisciplinarity in agriculture towards building strong food security academic & research components at Interdisciplinary Centre for Food Security at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Moreover, this training is giving a chance to better network among BAU-NARS-WUR academics & scientists towards attaining sustainable food security of Bangladesh.
